Size: Male averaging 3-4 mm and females 1cm 

Habitat

Webs consist of a tangled, funnel-like upper retreat area from which vertical, sticky catching threads run to ground attachments. The red back spider favors proximity to human habitation, with webs being built in dry, sheltered areas, such as among rocks, in logs, shrubs, junk-piles, sheds,mail boxes or toilets ect. Red back spiders are less common in winter months.

Danger Level: High 

Bite: May be life threatening for children but is rarely serious for an adult.

Red Back Spider

Size:1.5-3.5 cm 

Habitat: Urban areas and forests,Funnel-webs burrow in sheltered sites under logs and rocks where they can find a cool and humid climate, also Male Sydney Funnel-web spiders have a habit of wandering into backyards and falling into suburban swimming pools, where they can survive many hours. They also sometimes enter and become trapped in houses.

Danger Level:High 

Bite:Funnel-web bites are dangerous and first aid should be given immediately using the pressure bandage/immobilization technique (as for snake bite) and the victim taken to hospital and given antivenom if necessary.

Body lengths: Female 2 cm , Male 1.6 cm  Legs spanning up to 15 cm

Habitat

Huntsman Spiders are found living under loose bark on trees, in crevices on rock walls and in logs, under rocks and slabs of bark on the ground, and also on foliage ect. Sometimes Huntsman becomes trapped when sorting after prey inside houses.

Danger Level: Medium 

Bite: Localized Pain cold pack may help if pain persist see doctor Huntsman will more likely run away then bite and have been know to cause more incidences by there appearance then there venom.
